The Nominating Committee is responsible to oversee the director Nomination, Evaluation, Selection and Election processes for Board candidates, as well as the oversight of activities associated with the Annual General Meeting of Members, including the Annual Report.
This includes
- Assessment of the adequacy of the candidate pool to ensure it fulfills any identified gaps
- Oversight of the nomination, assessment and recommendation of best qualified candidates for the Board
- Overseeing the Director election processes
- Accountable for the general content, objectives and guidelines of Meridian’s annual report
- Oversight of the activities associated with the Annual General Meeting and any Special Members’ Meetings
