Age of eligibility
Simple and easy to buy, GetWell Insurance is available to anyone from birth to age 59. However, the contract holder must be 18 years of age or over.
Health Questions
It couldn't be easier. You're eligible for GetWell Insurance if you're a Canadian resident and you answer "No" to each of the following questions:
- Have you ever had cancer, a malignant tumour or a colon polyp?
- Have you ever received chemotherapy or radiation therapy?
- Have you tested positive for HIV or AIDS, are you waiting for test results or has anyone recommended you be tested?
- Males: Have 2 or more members of your immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters) had colon cancer before the age of 60?
Females: Have 2 or more members of your immediate family (father, mother, brothers, sisters) had breast, ovarian or colon cancer before the age of 60?
