TORONTO (July 26, 2011) – Meridian President and CEO, Sean Jackson, took to the speaker’s podium at the World Credit Union Conference in Glasgow, Scotland yesterday to showcase Meridian’s high-performing culture and leadership strategy.
In his interactive breakout session, titled “Reinventing Culture: Inspiring Leadership,” Jackson outlined how Meridian successfully created a member-centric culture and leadership strategy that not only fosters employee engagement but productivity, pride and purpose.
“Being invited to speak at the World Credit Union Conference regarding Meridian’s unique culture was truly an honour. In just six short years, Meridian has created a culture that has been a fundamental cornerstone to our continued growth and success. Presenting and participating at this conference has also given me the opportunity to share and learn best practices with international credit union peers,” said Jackson.
The four-day conference is a premier global credit union event, bringing together credit union leaders from more than 60 countries. This year’s conference included a key note address from the Right Honourable Gordon Brown, MP, former prime minister of Great Britain.
