For Meridian 2011 will be remembered as a milestone year!
On June 1st we welcomed 50,000 new Members from Desjardins CU (previously the Province of Ontario Savings Offices). We hope all Members have personally experienced our unique brand of neighbourhood banking in our branches, CBCs, through our Contact Centre and online.
We pride ourselves on listening to our Members and providing you with the quality advice and financial solutions you need to meet your financial goals. Our commitment and dedication to living out this promise has led to the launch of some new and innovative services – such as our Me-to-Me money transfer and No-Bounce services.
As we continue to build on the momentum from the first three quarters of 2011, I want to take this opportunity to thank you – our Members – for your continued support. The success we have achieved this year could not have been made possible without you.
I am confident that Meridian’s success will continue into 2012 as we will be launching some exciting and innovative initiatives – stay tuned for more details.
As you may already know, 2012 has been named the International Year of the Co-operatives by the United Nations. Here at Meridian, we plan to celebrate this special year in a variety of ways while educating Ontarians about the benefits of co-operative membership.
