First Login - Password Change

We recommend that members take the "Password Change Tour" to see the process you will need to follow when you first sign in to online banking.

At Meridian, we take your online privacy and security very seriously. As part of the change to the new banking system, we are prompting members to create a new password (Personal Access Code — PAC) the first time you sign in using your existing password.

Your new password (PAC) must be 6 – 8 characters in length. PACs are "case sensitive" (must be typed in exactly).

Meridian Online Banking — The Essentials


The new Meridian Online Banking Web site consists of 6 main areas.

Four of these areas that contain the majority of the functionality for day-to-day online banking are listed below. Click on the "Take the Tour " button to see a Flash-based* overview of the area. Use the keyboard "Space Bar" to pause and resume the tour during playback.


Accounts

  • After viewing the default Account Summary screen when first signing in,
  • members can choose to search for transactions by "filtering" transaction types.

Payments

  • Pay multiple bills at one time including setting the payment dates on each.
  • View a summary of your scheduled bill payments and cancel them if you wish.
  • Stop a single cheque, or a range of cheques.

Transfers

  • Transfer funds between your own and another member's accounts immediately.
  • Schedule a future dated transfer to one of your accounts or to another member's account.
  • Schedule a recurring future transfer to one of your accounts, or to another member's account.

My Profile

  • Change your Personal Access Code (PAC) that you use to sign in to Meridian Online Banking.
  • Notify us of an address change so that we can keep our records up to date.
  • Order or re-order your cheques online.
