Your Deposits are Protected by the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Ontario (DICO)
- DICO insures all deposits in Canadian currency payable in Canada and include:
- Savings and chequing accounts
- Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs) including index-linked GICs
- Interest and dividends payable on deposits
- Deposits are insured up to $100,000.
- At Meridian Credit Union, registered savings plans are fully insured with no limit on the maximum amount (RRSP, RRIF, LIF, RESP, TFSA)
