These types of programs have been offered by private investment firms to high net worth Canadians for decades and are now offered to average Canadians at a much lower cost of entry level.
Unlike many financial institutions that offer only one type of managed product solution, Meridian offers access to Managed Account Programs through Credential Asset Management Inc. from several leading companies – Invesco Trimark, Ethical Funds®, Franklin Templeton, Mackenzie and Standard Life.
What is a Managed Account Program?
A managed program is a bundle of mutual funds selected to match the individual investor’s goals and risk tolerance.
Benefits:
- Automatic Rebalancing — Offered in a single investment account together with the services of a professional investment specialist, the account is automatically rebalanced to maintain the asset allocation model.
- Asset Allocation — Asset allocation customizes your portfolio based on your risk tolerance and your investment goals. There are a variety of asset allocation models available with equity-to-fixed-income proportions. To name a few types of mixes:
- 100% equity
- 80% equity, 20% fixed-income
- 50% equity, 50% fixed-income
- 40% equity, 60% fixed-income
- 100% fixed income
- Enhanced Financial statements
- Comprehensive tax reporting
