December 18, 2020 - Changes to CEBA loan program amount

The Government of Canada has expanded the CEBA loan program amount to $60,000 in order to help more businesses through COVID-19. As of December 21, 2020 you can apply for the full $60,000 loan or, if you who already received a $40,000 loan, an additional $20,000 loan. Simply log on and select the CEBA application link.


November 25, 2020 - Changes to the CEBA loan program

You can now apply for the CEBA loan program immediately after opening a business chequing or operating account with your primary financial institution.

    September 23, 2020 - Updates to the CEBA program

    The Government of Canada has recently made an announcement that there will be changes to the CEBA Program to make it available to businesses with qualifying payrolls or non-deferrable expenses that have thus far been unable to apply due to not operating from a business bank account. Additional information regarding these changes and the launch date will be shared soon.

    July 9, 2020 - Updated CEBA applications now open

    We are now accepting CEBA applications under the new, expanded criteria. You can apply through Meridian Small Business Online Banking or Business Online Banking. Learn more about the CEBA Loan Program

    May 27, 2020 - More businesses eligible for CEBA Loan Program

    The federal government is expanding the criteria for the CEBA Loan Program so that more businesses can benefit. This includes more businesses that are sole proprietors receiving income directly from their businesses, businesses that rely on contractors, and family-owned corporations that pay employees through dividends instead of payroll.
