Government relief programs

To help businesses get through the financial upheaval caused by COVID-19, the Canadian government has created several relief programs to help you keep your business running, re-hire employees, make rent, and more.

BDC BCAP Co-Lending Facility

A term loan of up to five years to help with operational cash flow requirements, offered by the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC).

A short-term working capital loan to help sustain operations impacted by COVID-19, offered by Export Development Canada (EDC).

Canada Emergency Business Account (CEBA)

Get a $60,000 term loan at 0% interest, or expand your $40,000 loan, to help your small or medium-sized business with its most pressing needs.

Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS)

A subsidy to 75% of employee wages for up to 12 weeks, retroactive from March 15, 2020, to June 6, 2020 so you can re-hire people you’ve had to lay-off and avoid future job losses.

Forgivable loans for eligible commercial property owners to reduce the rent owed by their impacted small business tenants by at least 75% for the months of April, May and June, 2020.
