Members, guests and community invited to visit Meridian’s newest location in the GTA
TORONTO, ON (December 06, 2019) – The doors of Meridian Hall’s Branch Hub opened today. At 234 square feet, the Hub is located in the vestibule of the front foyer of Meridian Hall and combines an open concept space with an office area.
“We’re thrilled that the Meridian Hall Branch Hub will be a welcoming entry point for guests and patrons whether they are coming to a show, popping in to buy tickets, or out of town visitors paying their respects to one of Toronto’s most iconic cultural performance centres,” says Wanita Fonseka, Vice President, Retail Member Experience, Meridian. “We invite all visitors to Meridian Hall to drop by and take a moment to enjoy the Meridian experience in a very unique and relaxed environment."
Although the Branch Hub is cashless and paperless, it will always have Meridian representation in the form of a full-time Lead, Banking Experience. The office space within the Hub features video conferencing capabilities to engage with Members. The open concept space welcomes Members, Meridian Hall patrons and visitors to sit, relax, charge their mobile devices or meet to ask for advice.
Open Monday to Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Hub also has an ATM on site that is available during Hub hours and performances.
The Hub is only one of many Meridian-branded areas inside Meridian Hall, including the Meridian Community Lounge that will host community events, pop-up activations, and act as a place for patrons to recharge during shows, Meridian VIP Lounge for private groups, and Meridian standalone interactive kiosks.
These elements are part of the strategic partnership with Meridian and TO Live announced earlier this year that includes the naming rights for two iconic Toronto cultural properties. Effective September 15, 2019, The Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and the Toronto Centre for the Arts respectively became Meridian Hall and Meridian Arts Centre.
