Your GIC is renewing. Let’s look at your renewal options.

When your GIC matures you have a few different options. You can cash it out and have the funds deposited into your bank account, you can set up instructions for your GIC to renew automatically, or you can reinvest the funds into a different GIC term or product.

If you don’t need the money for another purpose, it makes sense to stay invested so that you keep earning interest and saving for your goals.

How to renew your GIC online

Meridian Members can renew GICs online quickly and easily. Simply log in to Online Banking, choose the Wealth & Investments tab, and select the GIC to be renewed.
