TORONTO (May 7, 2019) – Meridian has received an Achievement in Marketing Excellence (AIME) Award at the AIME Awards Gala, held in conjunction with the Canadian Credit Union Association (CCUA) National Conference. The awards ceremony took place last evening on May 6, 2019 in Winnipeg Manitoba.
Meridian won in the category of ‘Winning Results for Coordinated Campaign’ for the launch of its end-to-end digital lending platform that allows Members and prospects to get pre-approved for, and fulfil a mortgage, completely online.

In November 2017, Meridian officially launched it true end-to-end digital lending platform. Designed with the user in mind, the digital mortgage platform is not only convenient but is one of the first of its kind in market, including Canadian credit unions.
To launch the digital mortgage platform, Meridian embarked on a coordinated marketing campaign from May – September 2018 that included television, radio, digital and social media advertising. The objective was to reach all audiences through various platforms that are easily visible and audible to Members and prospects in their daily routines.
The Best of Marketing award is rewarded to the entry with the overall highest score via Achievement in Marketing Excellence (AIME). The AIME Awards celebrates the year’s best marketing and communications campaigns created by credit unions, cooperatives and, suppliers to the industry. The awards were created to raise awareness and exposure of the outstanding work being done in the industry.
