Investing in our Communities

As a credit union, we put our Members’ money to work in our communities – helping Ontarians to save, own their home sooner, and achieve goals like sending a child to school, launching a business and retiring. We also put our Members’ money to work by establishing partnerships with local community organizations.

Good Neighbour Program: Local charitable, not-for-profit and public organizations across Ontario that share the same values we do and are dedicated to strengthening our shared communities can apply to become a community partner. Our community sponsorship decisions are made by our local teams to address the unique needs of each of our communities.

If your not-for-profit or charitable organization is making a meaningful difference in your local community or across Ontario, you can apply to become one of Meridian’s community partners. There are many ways Meridian can support your organization or cause beyond funding – learn more about Meridian's Good Neighbour Program. Let us know how you’d like to work with us by using our online application form.

The Meridian’s Commitment to Communities Sean Jackson Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward an Ontario High School student who has demonstrated both academic excellence and an outstanding commitment to communities of their own.
