How to use Interac Sign-in to log in to CRA My Account
Step 1. Go to CRA sign-in services
Step 2. Select ‘My Account’ or ‘My Business Account’, scroll down to Option 1 and click on the ‘Sign-In Partner’ button
Step 3. On the Interac Sign-in Partner page, choose the Meridian logo
Step 4. Enter your Meridian online username and password (personal or business account) to sign in

Yes. With the Interac sign-in service, you can sign in with Meridian credentials even if you’ve been issued a CRA username and password.
Yes. Meridian Business Members can use the service to directly access their CRM My Business Account
Yes. You can change your sign-in partner at any time for CRA account access. However, some government services require you to answer questions to prove your identity when you use a new sign-in partner.
No. You are not required nor obligated to use the Interac sign-in service. You can use any of the sign-in options offered by the CRA.
Interac sign-in service acts as an information filter between government services and sign-in partners (like Meridian Credit Union). By brokering the connection, Interac sign-in service ensures that no government service knows which sign-in partner the Member is using, and that no sign-in partner knows which government service they are accessing.
The only information a sign-in partner supplies to Interac sign-in service is a randomly generated number created on the Member’s first use of the system and returned to Interac sign-in service with each subsequent use of the system. No passwords or personal information (i.e.: name, address, date of birth, etc.) are exchanged during this process.
