Toronto, ON - Meridian Credit Union, Ontario’s largest credit union, is pleased to announce its continued commitment to being a Living Wage employer where Meridian employees will earn at least the OLWN’s regionally recommended rates, adjusted for employers who provide benefits.

This reflects Meridian’s competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards strategy and its broader mission to foster a supportive and equitable workplace, ensuring all employees have the means to participate fully in their communities.

“Ensuring that our team members are compensated fairly by providing them a Living Wage is fundamental to our culture at Meridian,” said Patty Johns, Chief People & Culture Officer at Meridian Credit Union.

Meridian regularly reviews its compensation practices to align with changes in provincial regulations and broader market trends. In fact, in 2025 Meridian completed its job evaluation and base salary redesign project. This proactive approach ensures that Meridian remains an employer of choice, attracting and retaining top talent who are committed to delivering exceptional service to Members.
