Debbie LaFleur

I began my career at Meridian in 2021. My passion is helping people achieve their financial goals and realize their dreams by following a plan tailored to their lifestyles. During my time at Meridian as a dedicated Investment Specialist, I have helped Members define what it means to live your best life and build the plan to get there.

Prior to joining Meridian, I worked in wealth management for one of the Big Banks for 10 years. In addition to my work experience, I have completed industry courses and certifications including the Canadian Securities Course, Canadian Options Course, Investment Funds in Canada Course, CIFP Advanced Financial Planning Course, and Financial Planning I and II Courses. I am currently taking my PFP designation with The Canadian Securities Institute.

I was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie and come from a large family of seven siblings. Community was such an important part of my life growing up and it’s a value I continue to uphold now. In the past, I have volunteered for both Habitat for Humanity and United Way. I am also an avid runner (16 marathons and counting, including two Bostons) and fitness enthusiast. When I’m not helping Members achieve their financial goals, you can find me participating in fitness or personal training classes. I embrace everything I do with passion and energy. I look forward to sharing that with you as we navigate your financial journey.
