Mortgage Cash Rebate Promotion Terms and Conditions
  1. Introduction: These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) govern the Mortgage Cash Rebate Promotion (“Promotion”) offered by Meridian Credit Union Limited (“Meridian”). By participating in the Promotion you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Offer: Meridian is offering up to a $500 Cash Rebate for appraisal fees and switch/transfer costs incurred to switch, transfer, or obtain a new eligible Mortgage (Fixed Closed or Variable and Term length 3 years or greater) or Home Equity Line of Credit (“HELOC”) with Meridian beginning July 31. 2024 (the “Offer”). Cash rebate is paid on the date of advance of the Mortgage or HELOC.
  3. Eligibility:To qualify for the cash rebate:
  1. the Mortgage must fund within 120 days of the application date (date at which application is initiated by the Eligible Member).
  2. the Mortgage must have a minimum principal balance of $200,000 or greater.
  3. the Term (length) of the Mortgage must be 3 years or greater.

  1. All applicants are subject to the standard Mortgage or HELOC approval requirements, OAC. Conditions apply. Conditions are related to the approval and advancement of the Mortgage (i.e, various precedent conditions and/or disbursement conditions for funding) and inquiries should be directed towards the associate submitting/working on your application.
  2. This Offer is applicable to new and existing Retail Members who have onboarded or accessed this offer via the Meridian Affinity Partnership Program offer page, identified as an Affinity Member through fulfillment and who have transferred in or obtained a new Mortgage or HELOC with Meridian.

  4. Meridian reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate or suspend this Offer, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way without advance notice.
  5. This Offer is only valid for the time in which the Eligible Member’s employer is a participating Member of the Meridian Affinity Partnership Program.
