Frequently asked questions about credit cards
When you receive your card, you need to activate it by calling the number on the sticker affixed to the front of your card.
You can also activate your card online – here are some helpful tips.
In eZCard, make sure you’re in the detailed account level by going to the top of the page and selecting the switch icon next to your account name. Then, go to the 'Statements' page and chose your preferred statement option (mailed or paperless).
As a primary cardholder, you will see that you have a card number and an account number. Card numbers apply to specific credit cards and identify payments and transactions. Your account number applies to your credit card account, which may include more than one card. Your account consolidates transactions and payments across all its cards.
To change these details please call Meridian Contact Centre at 1 (866) 592-2226.
Call the number on the back of the card or dispute items online in eZCard. Navigate to eZCard, select a transaction you’d like to dispute (Note: a transaction has to be posted to the account) and select “Dispute this charge”.

The annual interest rate is a measure of the cost of credit, expressed as a nominal yearly rate. It is the amount of interest that is billed to your account for the convenience of using your credit card. There is a 21-day grace period during which no interest will be charged on that month's merchandise purchases. Please note that cash advances do not have a grace period. You can view your current annual interest rate online in your eZCard account or on a monthly statement. Your complete annual interest rate details were provided with your card when your account was approved.
