†Meridian Credit Union Limited (“Meridian”) is offering a limited-time Pre-Approved Credit Card Bonus Offer (the “Offer”) for eligible Meridian Members who have been pre-approved by Meridian based on credit information already held by Meridian at the time of selection. This pre-approved offer is based on the credit and financially related information Meridian has about you. Applicants must apply for the Card and must consent to a credit check. This Offer provides eligible pre-approved Members with the opportunity to earn 10,000 bonus points (the “Bonus”), valued at $100, when they accept and activate the Offer for a new Meridian Visa* Cash Back card or Meridian Visa* Platinum Cash Back card (the “Card”) by 11:59 p.m. ET on May 18, 2026. While preapproval indicates a high likelihood of approval, final approval is subject to verification of information and Meridian’s standard credit adjudication criteria. Meridian reserves the right to withdraw or change this offer, including the credit limit, even after acceptance by you, if a change occurs in your credit rating or other eligible criteria since being selected for this offer, or based on any additional information provided at the time of application. Offer Period
1. The Offer is available from April 20, 2026, to May 18, 2026 (the “Offer Period”). Applications must be submitted and the Card must be accepted and activated by 11:59 p.m. ET on May 18, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this Offer, the Member must:
2. Be a resident of Ontario at the time of application.
3. Be an existing Meridian Member and at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of application.
4. Have received a prequalified offer directly from Meridian, including via email, splash page, or My Offers communication.
5. Enter the promotional code pre-approved Offer at the time of application;
6. Apply for and activate the Card between April 20, 2026, and 11:59 p.m. ET on May 18, 2026; and
7. Maintain the open Card account, in good standing, and not delinquent throughout the Offer Period.
Bonus Points Fulfillment
8. A maximum of 10,000 bonus points per primary Member is available under this Offer.
9. Bonus points will be credited to the primary Member’s account within up to two (2) billing cycles following the end of the Offer Period, provided all Offer conditions have been met.
GENERAL TERMS
10. All amounts are shown in Canadian dollars.
11. Additional terms and conditions apply to both the opening and operation of the eligible credit card product at Meridian. Except as may be set out in the terms and conditions of the Offers, all terms and conditions applicable to products and services held with Meridian are not amended by these terms and conditions and continue to apply during and after the Offer periods.
12. By participating in the Offers, Members agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any attempt to manipulate or exploit the Offers will result in disqualification.
13. The Offers cannot be combined with any other promotional offers unless Meridian, at its sole discretion, defines otherwise.
If Meridian is unable to run the Offers as planned for any reason, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Meridian which corrupt or affect the administration, security or proper conduct of the Offers, Meridian reserves the right at its sole discretion to, without advance notice, terminate or suspend the Offers, in whole or in part, or modify it in any way.
14. Meridian reserves the right at its absolute discretion to withdraw the Offers in whole or in part, or to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions at any time and from time to time without notice, at its absolute discretion. Meridian reserves the right to end earlier, or to extend, the Offers period, at its absolute discretion.
15. Meridian reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, disqualify, limit or revoke the Offers to any Member it finds, or believes to be, manipulating or otherwise abusing the process, fairness, or integrity of the Offers.
16. The Offers may be suspended, modified or withdrawn at any time without notice for any reason including, but not limited to, an error or mistake on behalf of Meridian.
17. To the extent that the terms and conditions are inconsistent with any other communication, advertisement, or statement (a "Message") from Meridian, these terms and conditions will supersede all other Messages.
18. Meridian is not liable for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the Offers, including but not limited to direct, indirect, or consequential losses.
19. In consideration of the Offers provided by Meridian, the Member agrees through their participation in the Offers, to irrevocably and unconditionally release, discharge and forever hold harmless Meridian, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, affiliates, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, debts, dues, accounts, bonds, covenants, contracts, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, expenses, and compensation of any kind whatsoever (collectively “Claims”), whether known or unknown, which the Member, or any person claiming through or on behalf of the Member, now has, or may hereafter have, arising out of or in connection with the Offers or any associated transaction, service, or product provided by Meridian.
20. By participating in the Offers, the Member agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all Claims, including legal fees and expenses on a full indemnity basis, that may be brought against or incurred by any of the Released Parties as a result of or in connection with the Offers, any actions or omissions of the Member, or any breach by the Member of the terms and conditions governing the Offers. This indemnity shall survive the termination, completion or expiry of the Offers between Member and Meridian.
21. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the Offers, including any question regarding its existence, interpretation, validity, breach, or termination, shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Toronto, Ontario. By participating in this promotion, the member irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection to the venue or jurisdiction of such courts.
22. Participation in the Offers is your acknowledgement that you have read these terms and conditions, and you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
23. The Offers are intended for promotional purposes only and does not constitute financial or legal advice or an opinion related to the acquisition, suitability or use of any of the product.
24. Notice of the Offers including these terms and conditions are deemed to be provided on the day it is posted to the Meridian website.
