All Retail Payout and Discharge Requests for lawyers can be completed digitally starting October 30th
Payout Statement and Discharge requests for Meridian retail mortgages can now be submitted digitally through the Assyst Real Estate (ARE) platform, free of charge.
There are no fees to enroll or use the ARE discharge solution. Please request payout statements no less than five (5) business days in advance.
To get started using ARE, enroll through https://login.assystrealestate.com/onboarding.
If you already use ARE, simply click the Discharge tab at the top of your file and the main discharge page will display.

- For assistance using ARE, call 1-877-418-7511.
- To request up-to-date balances for Retail Lines of Credit or if you have questions about a payout statement request already submitted, contact Meridian at 1-866-516-3044.
Note:
- Commercial payout and discharge requests are not processed through ARE. Please contact the branch listed on the Member’s statement for these requests.
Tips:
- Do not make duplicate requests. If you have already requested a payout statement for a mortgage charge, you will be prevented from requesting again.
- Include details of the Member account number.
- Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days for the request to be completed. Requests made with less than five (5) business days might not be completed on time.
